DragonWorld.TV is now officially launched!
After 9 months of development, the baby is now hatched. We are starting modestly with 7 shorts and 1 feature length movie, but soon (as already announced) we’ll be adding our first medieval-themed reality series, KNIGHT QUEST.
In the coming weeks we’ll be adding more fantasy & science fiction videos, and also building cast pages and episode guides for KNIGHT QUEST.
Over the next year we hope to grow into site with a large library of videos, ground-breaking series, and extensive news coverage of fantasy and science fiction literature, movies and television series from all over the world.
We've been sitting on news of development on a lot of fronts for quite a while. Look for news soon here on the Zero Gravity Sports League, news about our news fantasy-themed entertainment channel DragonWorld.TV, and news on new social networking features for SpaceChannel.TV.
What we can share now is three things:
SpaceChannel.TV is proud to present our first documentary.
Press Release: IPX Entertainment and Space-Shot.com Enter $3.5 Million Spaceflight Deal
After months of development, SpaceChannel is now live.
We are steadily approaching launch of SpaceChannel.TV. The launch date is tentatively set for April 16th, 2006. At that time we will have deployed our payment system, and SpaceDimes.com credit system. Later our audience network on SpaceDimes.com will be deployed after reaching a minimum audience number that the ad networks want; and later in the spring/summer, the release of the IPX custom video player in time for the August premiere of SpaceChannel's first feature, a documentary called "Crew 44", about an expedition to the Mars Desert Research Station.
IPXN has issued a press release for a casting call to take applications for the first two Paraball teams. See http://spacechampions.com for details.
We've also updated our subscription model to a credit system where subscribers can purchase credits that will allow them to add videos to their library of videos, or they can watch video ads to add credits to their account. This pay-or-earn system will offer a greater freedom of choice to the viewers than any other video-on-demand service currently out there.
IPXN is developing its own internet television channel. We aim to get SpaceChannel.TV online by the end of March 2006. Space Channel TV will not be streaming video, but offer encrypted peer-to-peer network downloads of our original content programming in both an ad-free / paid-subscription version and an ad-supported / free-subscription version. This offers our viewers the widest possible choice for their viewing of Space Sports, Space Entertainment, Space History and original Science Fiction series and movies.
Space Channel TV will begin taking subscriptions for either version in March, offering a reduced price to those who sign up early before our official programming launch in September 2006. We might be awarding a free Zero Gravity Experience flight to some of our paid subscribers as well in an effort to attract a wide audience.
